Employment History

After 10 years studying and working in the health and special needs field in Edinburgh, I spent the next 22 years in Athens, Greece. I established an organization serving both Greek and foreign communities for families with special needs children. This comprised of a team of multi-disciplinary professionals serving children with a wide range of cognitive, physical and emotional difficulties. My roles included; Parent Support Coordinator working with multi-cultural issues, service development and collaboration with Greek and International Organisations. Parent Support Groups were established using a pro-active Action Learning approach, encouraging parents to advocate and take responsibility for issues that there were no services provided for.
On return to Britain in 2000 I updated my skill base and have worked independently as a private Executive Coach and Facilitator. I enjoy the collaborations with colleagues and associates. My clients over the years have included;

NHS within GP and Primary Health Care in Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark Trust. This was part of a mentoring programme working with GPs, Practice Managers, Practice Nurses, Administrators and Receptionists.
NACVS  Action Learning for Managers, National Project. Facilitation of Sets based on group coaching model.
GlaxoSmith-Kline- Executive Coaching to Board of Directors and Middle Management as part of a company-wide management development programme. Associate Executive Coach for Coaching in Partnership.
Thomson Reuters Supervision of internal coaches using an action learning format.
Health Service Journal  Commissioned to write case studies based on Executive Coaching within the NHS. Cases outlined the challenges faced by a diverse range of clinical and administrative staff and those from strategic roles to those on the front line.
